'Lost' vs. 'Glee': Who ya got?

"Glee" is already a pretty heavily DVR'ed show, adding an average of 1.67 million viewers per episode this season via delayed viewing. That could go up -- maybe by a lot -- come spring. When "Glee" returns in the spring, the fiercely loved cult hit will be going up against another show with a rabid fan base: "Lost." The ABC series will be entering the home stretch of its six-season run by then, with likely only seven episodes remaining when "Glee" comes back on April 13. In the grand scheme of things, the "Lost"-"Glee" showdown will probably be a battle for, at best, second place. Neither show is likely to beat "NCIS: Los Angeles," which is averaging close to 17 million viewers this season ("Glee" is at 8.5 million, and "Lost" last year drew 11.3 million viewers a week). But in terms of fan obsession, few other shows on TV can match "Glee" and "Lost." So our question to you, Zap2it readers, is a simple one: Which one will you watch first? "Saturday Night Live" has landed Taylor Lautner, wolfy guy from "Twilight's New Moon" as a host. Ooh, maybe there will be a Taylor Swift cameo! Lautner and James Franco are the two newest names to be added to "SNL's" December hosting lineup, according to "Access Hollywood," after "Gossip Girl's" Blake Lively was revealed as the Dec. 5 host , paired with Rihanna as musical guest. Lautner, who became a "Rolling Stone" cover boy and was briefly on NBC with the short-lived "My Own Worst Enemy," will follow on Dec. 12, making his hosting debut alongside musical guest Bon Jovi. Lautner's face and body have been plastered everywhere in the media in conjunction with the release of "New Moon," the second installment of the "Twilight" saga that features his character Jacob coming into his own supernatural heritage. When Neil Patrick Harris has an idea, the powers-that-be at " How I Met Your Mother " apparently pay attention. Early last week, while on-set for the CBS comedy's 100th episode celebration, NPH told reporters that Amanda Peet would be a person he'd love to see on the show. "I really like her," Harris said. "I think that would be fun." Days later, her deal was done. Peet ("Something's Gotta Give," "The Whole Nine Yards") will guest star on an episode titled "Jenkins" early next year. She will play Marshall ( Jason Segel )'s co-worker. Best episode ever? Of the season, I mean. I had a feeling ahead of time that Joseph Gordon-Levitt could pull off a good show--I liked him on 3rd Rock from the Sun and if, as a kid, he could be funny next to French Stewart (and I guess, John Lithgow too) I figured he might be able to pull off at the very least an energetic performance on SNL. I liked that in his monologue he made fun of his indie darling status and then really worked his ass off during "Make 'Em Laugh," complete with singing, cartwheels, pratfalls, punches ...
